So, Freedom...

Walking into work a few days ago.

Chin: How do you feel today, my sir?

Me: I feel free.

C: How so?

M: I feel like all my debts have been paid, both financial and emotional. The water of my ocean is calm and at peace.

C: Really? That's excellent - you feel free!

M: Yeah, It's refreshing.

C: So how are you going to use this freedom? Because, you know, freedom is a form of power.

M: Wow. I've never thought of freedom as power. That is true, it is... I will have to let you know.

Have you ever considered that the poor beggars on the street who say “God bless you” as you walk by are quite possibly giving more to you with their words than you could ever give them with your money?

Quote IconThe arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven’s sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possible can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something.
